We've had a lot of those kind of days this summer. I'm old enough now to know that life just happens that way sometimes.
And to prove that we are rolling with it, we invited some friends for a very last minute dinner and bonfire at the beach.
There's nothing that a golden sunset can't fix. The s'mores weren't too shabby either.
What are your go-to plans for those kind of days?

Katie, your pictures are beautiful! We've been promising the kids a bonfire at the beach all summer but never have it in us to stay all day and then at night. I think we need to just wait and go at night. Glad you had fun!!

I wish we lived near the ocean! on days like that i usually take a break when my husband gets home :) then have a glass of wine after the kids go to bed! but s'mores..thats fun for the whole family!
